Easter Sunday

I realize Blake is kinda young to enjoy dying eggs...but darn it we just had to do it!
He wasn't much in to it, as you can see from the photos!

(at least the eggs got him away from the cans in the pantry)

Okay...we'll maybe the Easter basket would go better??



The Easter Bunny brought Blake a new toothbrush, his very own spatula and slotted spoon (since we can NEVER find ours because he thinks they are his), Peeps (which he hated), chocolate bunny, socks, a balloon, a slinky, and eggs filled with Blake approved treats!

He wanted nothing to do with the grass and only wanted to stir the contents of his empty Easter basket with his spatula!  Maybe he's going to be a famous chef someday?! He cracks us up!

As with most kids...they prefer the box the new toy came in...so it is with Blake. He was happy with the Easter basket tin and using it as a drum.





I am grateful for the sacrifice & resurrection of our Savior this Easter holiday.

After church and a yummy Easter dinner...we went outside to play.
Grandma E sent Blake a bubble blower for Easter and we put it to good use!


This boy sure loves to swing, especially when dad pushes him super high!
