We had the best little family vacation to Los Angeles over the weekend to visit Kelli.

Within 10 minutes of arriving at Kelli's apartment, her downstairs neighbors came up to complain that we were too loud...it might have been the basketball Blake was dribbling...oops!

Blake was smitten by Goofy & Hotdog!! He was not scared at all. It was so fun to see him take-in Disneyland. Good thing he brought his shake-n-go Mater...that guy put on some miles at Disneyland.
Blake took a good 2 hour nap during which Kelli & I hit up some rides while Rustin watched Blake. Thanks babe! We had a BLAST on the Tower of Terror and Screamin California!
When Blake woke up we played in the Bugs Life Land...then back over to Disneyland for the evening parade. After the parade we rushed over to the Nemo Sub ride and got right on...by far Blake's favorite ride! He loved seeing the fishies and finding Nemo!
Toward the end of the day...we browsed the shops, getting Blake's silhouette done - in less than a minute no less & picking out a Mickey Mouse for Blake to take home. We had such a fun day! But we can't wait to come back when Cars Land is open!!

Ever since Blake was a baby he'd let us know he wanted to eat by saying, "eaT!" (emphasis on the 't') So when we saw this super cute restaurant by Kelli's apartment called, EAT, we just had to go! And gosh, it did NOT disappoint! Best breakfast everrrr! While we waited for a table..Blake told us about every car and truck that drove by. (in second pic below...a particularly cool truck drove by)
Our next stop was Griffith Park and Observatory.
Blake preferred to play golf and dunk his ball in daddy's hoop.

Then it was home for naps.
Kelli & I ventured to a couple thrift shops and scored some sweet deals! Our first stop didn't have any shopping carts...and our arms were about to break off when we grabbed to luggage for sale to use! Brilliant, eh?! I thought so.
Back at home we lounged around...trying hard not to annoy the neighbors too much. Blake played with his new firetruck I thrifted for a couple bucks...he was in heaven.

Venice Beach. Blake found his basketball boys and would've given anything to play with them. They watched, while I worked on not getting my scalp burnt! Kelli & I relaxed on the beach while Rustin chased Blake around and played at the parks along with boardwalk path.

Breakfast again at EAT! And again...so yummy! Then an impromptu photo shoot in the alley on our walk back to Kel's apartment. It's been so fun hanging out with her!! I wish we lived closer.
Thanks for letting us crash at your place.
