23 Things at 23 Months
1. LOVES "bass-a-ball", football, & baseball. Could shoot baskets all day, especially if daddy is playing. He's also in to throwing anything & everything through the hoop, and if he misses he says, "Almost!" He'd rather watch basketball on TV over Disney Jr any day.
2. Let's us know when he needs his diaper changed...but it more interested in flushing the toilet than actually sitting on it.
3. Counts to 10.
4. Poses & says "chEEEEse" when he wants his picture taken.
5. Gives EVERYTHING high fives! Even himself.
6. Sleeps from about 8pm to 7am! We are sooooo lucky! He loves to go to bed and many times is ready before we are ready to put him down.
7. Thinks Mickey Mouse's name is Hotdog. While we were visit g&g E a couple weeks ago, he pointed to a pic of my family with Mickey back in the day and shouted, "Hotdog! Hotdog!!" I didn't get it...then it clicked! The goodbye song on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show is, "Hotdog, hotdog, hot-diggity-dog!" So smart to put that together, eh?!
8. Can unlock & find his games on my phone. Favorite apps are a drumming game, "TRAAAAINS!", and any counting app. He usually manages to delete an app or two by mistake.
9. LOVES LOVE LOOOOVES cereal! Anytime you ask him what he wants to eat he says cereal. He thinks anything that comes in a cardboard rectangular box is cereal
10. Insists on taking his basketball or football to bed with him.
11. Is getting his broviac line out and a porta-cath put in on March 13th. Swimming here we come!!
12. Says "Bye bye" to everything before he goes to bed. "Bye bye vacuum! Bye bye bass-a-ball! Bye Bye eeeaT! Bye bye shake! Bye bye cars! Bye bye house! Bye bye moooooon! Bye bye outtt-side! Bye bye fan! Bye bye daddy! Bye bye momma! Bye bye kites (lights)! Bye bye bike! Bye bye trains! Bye bye jump! Bye bye air-pane! Bye bye water!" etc etc etc....
13. Can hear a firetruck or police car from miles away. And will let you know with his version of a siren, "WooooOOO-WooooOOO!"
14. If music is on Blake is probably dancing...jumping up & down.
15. Climbs, climbs, climbs and likes to jump off whatever he's climbed on to. Pushes the kitchen chairs around to get what he wants.
16. Sings the clean-up song as helps clean up his toys.
17. Does NOT like the bounce house slide at gymnastics.
18. Anything that spins or looks like it could spin is a fan.
19. Runs everywhere...and usually stops with a little spin/leap. This boy doesn't know how to slow down!
20. Talks non stop!
21. Any round white object he calls a moon.
22. Still not happy about going to nursery.
