February and Sunny

Today we played at the beach. It was a gorgeous, sunny, and wind-free day! 

Of course Blake fell asleep five minutes before we ended our two hour drive...so that meant we drove around town a bit. We absolutely LOVE Santa Cruz...the weather, the homes, the seaside cliffs, the sand, the waves...LOVE it all! 

As we drove we noticed an area blocked off with a crowd of people around...so naturally we stopped to check it out. While Blake slept and I played Scramble with Friends in the car, Rustin investigated. Turned out a surf movie was being filmed and they were working on stunts in the GIANT waves. 

When Blake woke up we set up shop at Cowell's to spend the day. At first Blake did not liking the sand under his feet and wouldn't leave the chair. But he couldn't resist pushing around his blue truck and soon he was running around like he owned the beach.
