First stop of the day, Shriners Hospital:
Follow-up appointment with Dr. McCarroll - hand specialist extraordinaire!
Every time we go to the Shriners clinic Blake gets a beanie baby...today we left with a green bunny.
Dr. M wanted an xray of Blake's new thumb so we (me & the xray tech - see our hands along with Blake's below!) wrestled with Blake trying to decent pics...that boy is STRONG!

Dr. M said everything looked great and Blake was one good healer!
Next stop was McDonalds:
We don't normally eat here, but it was convenient and we were hungry!
Blake's love of french fries has resulted in us asking for them in a separate bag...so he'll at least eat part of his burger first! (I feel kinda silly typing that...aren't they both equally bad for ya! Ha! Oh well!)

Our next stop of course was a couple of my favorite thrift shops:
I have a system for thrifting with Blake.
First, strap him in the cart!
Second, AVOID the pots & pans until he's grumpy & needs something to hold.
(Blake is OBSESSED with pans...and their matching lids. He goes crazy if he sees them! "Hold da pans!!" he repeats over & over until I let him hold a pan. And you better hope you can find a lid to
fit the pan he's holding, or else! Walking by the pans is worse than walking by the toy section for his crazy kid!)
Third, in order to leave the store without buying every pan, you have to say, "Bye bye pans!!" as you set them back on the shelf...and sometimes even give them a kiss goodbye! (Hey...it totally works...there's usually no crying or tantrum throwing when we leave them behind!)

(see him looking for a lid for that big pot...)
This was our last stop and Blake was DONE.
So...I caved and let him out, but he didn't want to walk.
Finally Home:
Back at home the mail lady brought Blake an Easter package from g&g E.
Blake was thrilled to have some new balls...although I kept telling him they were eggs.
