You are so stinkin awesome!!
The last couple weeks you have been saying new things all the time. Copying words me & daddy say & even making short sentences! Most everything spoken by you is plural, for example, "Cars." "Daddys." "Buh bye waters," when draining the bathtub. "Fooballs." It cracks me up!! You point out every light or fan and tell us whether it's off or on. You repeat the same words over and over until someone acknowledges you. My favorite new phrase you say is, "It's funnyyyyyy!" You say it so perfect.
You LOVE cereal, and say it so sweetly. Any cereal-shaped box you see you assume is cereal and repeat your jumbled way of saying it over and over again. Sometimes, even though you've just eaten, you want to get in your highchair and eat cereal. You take after your momma and her love of it!
Recently, you've been saying, "butter, butter, BUTTER!!" It took us a while to figure out you wanted the peanut butter. When I got it out...you grabbed a spoon to dig in. Silly kid...straight peanut butter?! You call milk, water despite how many times we tell you it's milk.
You are turning in to quite the basketball star. You love to shoot baskets with dad. You're slam dunk it pretty sweet and your free throws are just the cutest. You also like to kick your "fooball" back and forth with dad. You call everything a fooball...footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, balloons. Many time when we turn the tv on, you say "fooball" hoping to get us to find some sports to watch.
Whenever you go into a room with me or daddy, you usually close the door and lock it. I think it's so funny that you feel that is an important part of closing the door...that's probably why you locked dad & out so easily the other day, huh?!
Out and about you say hi to everyone and wave. It makes a lot of people smile. While we are shopping and you have a car with you and you see other kids...you will hold up your car as if to make them jealous and say, "Cars! Cars! Cars!"
You love to give kisses. You kiss your rocking moose, the blue horsey, your McQueen pillow, and even your matchbox cars. If we ask for a kiss you pucker up and lay a big one on us! It is so sweet. You still don't really like to snuggle much...although I wish you would! You love going to bed and lay down in your crib pretty darn easy! (Daddy & I are pretty lucky!!) You take one nap a day usually around 1pm and sleep for about 2 hours. At night, you sleep a good 10-12 hours!!
Blake...you are the coolest kid we know!! Don't ever change!
